So..who ARE we playing, Sky?

A team of cloggers, or a team managed by a clogger?

you decide,!
?

Sky really are useless where anything outside the Prem is concerned. An organisation that rich could afford to hire decent commentators and knowledgeable football people but they don't really give a stuff. As long as people are prepared to pay, they'll do it the cheapest way possible.
Makes you appreciate the expertise displayed by the BBC in their coverage of the 'lower leagues'.

...and that mighty broadcasting powerhouse Quest, who put sky to shame when it comes to the EFL

Truly awful. However, Sky coverage would be the perfect fit for the Conference in the days it was run by that clown Lee. Best circus in town.

Absolutely pathetic from Sky. Anything below Championship the 'news' is just amateurish. Loyal fans have paid £9.99 to watch their team, and they can't even be bothered to do a simple bit of research on Wikipedia.

Surprised they didn't go on to say Fleetwood will meet Oxford University in the Final.

Meejah were bemoaning the fact that goal line technology was in use and it registered a goal that the officials “would never have”. How unfair was that? Oh, and how unfair was it that there were no visiting fans to influence the ref... whereas in the previous match, sad that there were no home fans to “influence” the officials. Poor little Pompey. So so unfair that unfashionable Oxford progressed by an Oggie and pens then.

Meejah? Don’t you just love em?

standby for a barrage of pro “Wycombe the underdogs”, “big budget Oxford”, “poor little, over achieving, under funded wycombe” “it’s the M40 local derby” “Great support for the wanderers band” etc etc .....utter utter meejah drivel.

Apparently we have some bloke called Rooffles playing at left back. He might be related to that other Rooffles who played for Oxford and later went on to play for Leeds United and Anderlecht.

It's like they can only be bothered to research 2 or 3 players on each team and mention them at every given moment. Dickie is great, but Elliott Moore has been huge in both games and barely gets a mention. Browne headlined on Friday, but Sykes was great on Monday and not noticed. Eastwood has a great record with penalties but it was barely mentioned. I wouldn't mind, but they've got literally f**k all else to do between now and Monday but to swot up on the two teams and use that to educate and entertain.

Browne was quiet on Monday but they still talked about him the whole time

I am still not certain the commentator new Sykes name, never seemed to use it even when he was on the ball, probably put out that some bloke had started over Liverpool loanee Woodburn , who scored on his full Wales debut at 17 (he managed to mention that multiple times about someone who wasn’t even on the pitch).

And someone called Duckie almost scored with a header at the end of extra time.

1 Level of tactical analysis rarely raises above humdrum. Most of the commentary an avalanche of stale old facts .
2 Any decent play by any individual player triggers Prem comparison. Ie Brannagan only any good because of his Liverpool ‘schooling’.
3 Blatant misrepresentation. Mackie never had and never will have a ‘decent scoring record’. ‘It would have been the shock of the decade if Roofles had scored with that header from that cross ’.( What, the ‘Roofles’ whose last minute header got us into the playoffs? )
4 Wycombe a brilliant ‘team’, ‘No stars’, ‘Small budget’,’ Lawriw Sanchez’,’ Martin O’Neill’ , mmm isn’t it?
5 OUFC win and ‘graduate to the Championship’ ; their strikers get a ‘degree’ in finishing.
6 Robinson ‘ loud’ has been a manager for ‘20 years’, is a ‘proud Scouser brought up on his beloved Liverpool’s 4-3-3’.
7 Fazackerly is really old, a dinosaur really.
8 Oxford won the league cup under Jim Smirh’s management in 1986.
9 The Championship is the ‘promised land’. There are ‘big boys’ there.
10 There are 30 seconds of post match analysis punctuated by a 20 minute Screwfix advert involving a lady called ‘Ashley Westwood’ doing some plumbing.
Can’t wait.

In the absence of being able to sync rad ox and the TV (I've tried DAB and FM with no luck) I will be muting the sound

Same here. Even tried to buy a DAB radio with pause and sync, but turns out they don't sell them with that feature anymore :(
