General A Covid Proof Stadium

If this Covid virus lingers in the air and is more dangerous in confined spaces, perhaps the best stadium would be one with an open end, gaps in the corners where the wind can blow around and disperse the virus quickly.

Turns out Kassam did have our best interests at heart! He saw this one coming.

I hope this is a wind up. C19 isn't airborne.

Basically you need to be 2m apart. So a person or family need to have empty seats to left, right, in front or behind of them. Research was already done on this, which I believe they said a 10,000 seater stadium could probably hold 2,000 people.

But then there are the communal areas which would be a nightmare. If there are hand rails.. Toilets, door handles. Do you test everyone before when enter the stadium. Staff exposure.

This thread title needs editing. The new buzz term is ‘covid secure’. The idea of anything being covid proof is just ridiculous.

The OP has embarrassed me, as well as themselves.

Swindon's county ground is the perfect place as covid wouldn't get a look in as It's too diseased and deformed from the people that frequentl it even the surrounding area as well .

Let's just all wear face masks. If it's good enough for the airlines and railways, it's good enough for football. Clubs could also generate a little bit of much neede extra revenue by selling masks in club colours.

Tiger is ahead of you, he already got 10k manufactured and distributed locally and to older season seaticket holders.

Unfortunately they are white but do have the OUFC badge and Singha badge on them. Still a nice gesture at the time though.

I have got an OUFC mask and I have tested it at the supermarket There is a problem with them if you wear glasses. Every time you breathe out the glasses steam up and every time you breathe in they clear. If you were to wear them at a match you would only see half the action.

In tight games the possession stats wll be roughly 50:50, it's all about timing.

Sorted. Hold your breath when we attack, breathe out when we lose possession or score.
Our Brazil like passing game might present a challenge though.....

You're so right - when wearing my OUFC mask my glasses always steam up.
