I see we are allegedly supposed to be getting some heavy snow over Thurs/Fri of this week. If that does happen I guess Saturdays game could be under threat due that icing up.

Hopefully the met office will have it wrong as usual!

To add to that Fleetwoods travelling arrangements could well be scuppered too.

The pitch will be playable. It will be outside the ground that could cause the issue. If safety officers cant guarantee safety off all fans then it'll be called off.

Thats what I was thinking if paths, roads and concourses have ice then it will be called off!

I know this is an old chestnut but who is responsible for the pitch and ensuring its playable? Is it the stadium company or OUFC? If it’s down to the stadium company I wouldn’t hold your breath on it going ahead

To be honest with Tiger confirming that the new manager won't be INCHARGE on Saturday I'm kind of hoping it is called off. Fleetwood also have a new manager and with our record against them that me makes there new manager bounce more likely to start with a win. Maybe it could be better if it is postponed.

It won't be the pitch that is the problem though, it will be about public safety etc

The forecast for this area doesn't say heavy snow by the weekend (well not yet anyway!) But a series of minor snow showers one after the other (Maybe!).

"Predictions for Friday suggest snowfall could last all day in Oxford, before dying down early on Saturday morning. Forecasters predict as much as 10cm within the warning area [which we are in]."

Some people are missing the point. It’s nit just about the oxford area, Fleetwood have to come down from oop north, they may not be able to travel down here.

IF they can't fulfil a commitment to play they should forfeit the 3 points, non league tinpot outfit who should drop back to where they belong !;)...then we'd only need 6 more to survive l1 this season :p

Where have you got that from? The BBC forecast for Oxford is still showing light snow on Thursday and Friday.

The players could always have a snowball fight!

what and keep passing them square then backwards before lumping it for their centre half to clear for a snow in sorry throw in

Can we have a snowman on the left side of the centre of defence please.

I appreciate he’ll keep attacking players onside but I imagine he’ll lose the ball less.
