No t-shirt but a lovely walk over the cliff to seaton & back.

Done that many times, usually go one way via the rock route at low tide. The walk the other direction to Branscombe and back is even better.
Heart attack hill in branscombe, that’s one to walk up, beers got quite a hill back up to the campsite too.

Hello, yes as the name suggests I used to live in Teignmouth when I first came down this way 20 odd years ago, but now living just the other side of Dawlish.

Love Dawlish, We always stay at Cofton as I love my fishing. We go the 2 or 3 times a year.

Going to be in Dawlish on the 13th July which is also the date of the play off final. Hopefully there will be somewhere there where sky is available. Couldn’t make 2010 play off final as I was in Spain ?? hopefully an omen for this year.

Recently moved.. any yellows down here in teignmouth?
Hi. I've been registered on here and TIU for years but only reading not posting for quite a while (mainly because I forgot my login details and had to re-register today). Been exiled in Wales for some years but am moving to Dawlish next week. Would be good to meet up for a pint when lockdown restrictions allow.
Best wishes to everyone for a safe and healthy Xmas.

Hi to the pair of you. I live 4 miles from Shaldon on the edge of Newton Abbot. My local(s) are in Shaldon and when this covid virus ease up it would be nice to meet up over a pint or three to discuss anything re the U's

Hi there SDY. Love the pubs in Shaldon, had a week on holiday there last year and became familiar with the Ferry Boat Inn whose beer garden is over the road and bordering the beach. Like The Shipwright Arms also, got their own fruit & veg shop in the beer garden plus a bar stocked with real ales and a feel that you're sat drinking in someone's living room.

Yes, agree, meeting up for a beer when it's safe and sensible to do so sounds good. I'm a grassroots level referee and have got my first local game to officiate in Teignmouth this weekend, it's an U16 level game as all senior football is called off for a while.

Both of those pubs are my locals, Ferryboat in Summer watching the world go by on the ajacent estuary and the Shipwrights at inclement times. I also frequent the Conservative Club (hold on to my hat time) which is one of very few clubs to be listed in CAMRA book for its consistent quality of real ales. It's also one of the few places you can play snooker in the area! (the table is in the same room as the bar!)
Hopefully be able to meet up about mid March it seems, if all things go well.
