Lots of local businesses are now delivering food etc. This may help yourselves or friends to stay inside, let's list them:

Meatmaster - now delivering orders over £60 in certain post codes - https://meatmaster.info/

Bonner's of Oxford - fruit and Veg with no minimum order, £2.20 delivery fee. Will also pick up orders from other select Covered Market shops - https://www.bonnersoxford.co.uk/

Defiantly the way forwarded. May I suggest, applying group chats along parts of streets/roads/closes for deliveries. As you might have a higher number of thieving youths nicking your deliveries.

Milkmen ( the old fashioned, leave your milk on the doorstep) offer a bit of an essential groceries type service....will be trying out their 'more than milk' services on the next milk delivery (thurs).....think the milkman who delivers 3 out of the 7 days per week are 'based' these days somewhere along abingdon rd - though they were previously based out kidlington way

Milk and More are not taking new customers and haven't for a few weeks now, I've used them for around 2 years.

2 pints (milk) on the doorstep this morning ?

First meat master (inc veg box) comes today ,12 kg bag of dog biscuits directly from manufacturers on route, as I am “high risk” and have joined the 12 week club, I am eligible for government help in getting food delivered, hopefully when I need it it will include dog food

My Meatmaster order comes tomorrow :)

Hope they keep doing delivery after all this.

snap on that (2 pints of milk on the doorstep this moring)..... been having milk delivered for as far back as I can remember, - over 30 years at least

We’ve always had our milk delivered, and occasionally a few extras bits of produce especially at Christmas.

Also use our local village as and when we can. Use it or lose it!

Same with the local pub, but sadly now forced to close. I can see some village pubs not re-opening after this crisis is eventually over.

No issues here, the old gal up the road hasn`t picked hers up for a while so we are looking after it for her. Dunno where she is..... **

** borderline sick joke....... she`s fine we check in on Whatsapp every day. ? :)

Had to give up with ordering from Sainsbury's, not taking anymore delivery customers (unless in certain categories) and no collection slots available.
Even worse, The Wine Society have emailed to inform that they are closing for the duration and all existing orders not in transit will be cancelled. Bang goes our order! - The wine rack is looking very vulnerable - does that qualify it for special treatment?

Clear the old stock ready for the new..... ;) :)
