Every game is a big one now as we fight to get back into the play-offs.
Shrewsbury are managed by a duo who met as teenagers at OUFC: Sam Ricketts and Dean Whitehead. Shrews supporters don't like Ricketts much as he has concentrated on defensive tactics to keep them away from the relegation zone.
However, since Whitehead's arrival, and with league safety pretty certain, Ricketts has recently changed to a more attacking formation.
Expect us to hit them hard on the counter and win 1-3.

Or we could hit them with Plan B or Plan C ? Looking forward to supporting the mighty U’s tomorrow. 1-3. COYY

With coronavirus dominating the news, the best advice is to avoid areas where large crowds gather ...

... the County Ground is open tomorrow.

Up for the visit to Salop or whatever ye olde name Shrewsbury fans give their region and my first time visiting the New Meadow. I feel we owe them a good game after their spoiling tactics in the home tie. Think it will take a bit of trickery to decide this one. They don’t score many or let in lots either.

Early start for the Loungers, about a 4 hour drive up plus a stop to water the horses. Overnight in the town and then onwards with our annual pilgrimage to north Wales. No worries though, already packed a few clarets and a fizz for Mrs Lounger.

potentially a harder one to win, than it may seem( based on form), 1-2 away win , Browne and Ruffels are both overdue a goal, so Im going for Browne with the opener, Ruffs with the winner, late on as it tends to be with him

If Gavin was still with us I'd love a repeat of last season. What a finish to the game that was! Maybe someone else would like to step up for the day?

scored in both matches V shrews last season didnt he? ...agree that one he got up at the new meadow was 'a bit good' !

We haven't had a 2-0 win for ages, so im going for that scoreline, only downfall is Dickie gets booked and results missing the next 2 games.

I think they were going for, no one else will choose this s**t kit

I think we will struggle tomorrow we couldn’t break down there anti football in December and I think they will play the same way tomorrow so I say 1-1

Eastwood
Long Dickie Moore Ruffels
Browne Gorrin Brannagan
Henry Taylor Sykes

SUBS: Mackie, Agyei, Holland, Forde, Thorne, Mous, Stevens

Squads starting to look very strong again now, which is great timing!

Play a strong attacking lineup, go for the throat, get the win, don't shake hands!
