Manager/Coach Karl Robinson - Will he walk

I also think Robinson is already putting a force field around himself. He knows how to work most fans and the media - he’s making it clear he’s hacked off at the moment so that if he goes people won’t blame him, and if he stays people will blame the board long before him and think he’s a hero for sticking about.
?

Blackpool nonsense certainly took the shine off Saturday's win and am less bothered about season outcome until things are sorted out...the big A word keeps springing up but Charlton certainly got their wish after KR left them with what work he'd put in.

But but but I thought tiger needed the compo to pay the lawnmower rental fees??
I dont think its over quite yet. A lot will depend on Robbos view and his "ambition" - its very rare clubs approach a gaffer without sniffing out interest via intermediaries first - see C.Wilder in particular.

Ok, Blackpool have set their stall out. It seems they’ve chosen Robinson as their No1 target. It doesn’t really matter whether Tiger has refused permission for them to speak to KR if he decides himself that he wants to go. It’s going to be an interesting couple of days..

Maybe you are right kip. Surely you would be pleased if he went though? I've seen you post many times slagging off krs tactical ability.

It wouldn't worry me if he did walk. We have good enough players here , and he can't take them with him. If people think that shouting and hollering about on the touch line actually helps then think again.

I think you would be in a minority with that opinion. Personally I’d be really disappointed if he left. It feels as though we are building a team for the future, with a manager who is passionate about the project.

Does this mean the other short priced candidates have knocked the Tangerines back then?

it gets pretty annoying when every time we start building something promising, we then see our best players and manager disappear. are we destined to always be a feeder club for the champ or do the current board have the ambition and means to build us into a champ club? if they do, then kr needs to stay.

saying that i've no idea how good Jaap will be....

KR, in his interview on Saturday, praising the fans highly, and in other interviews is always bigging up what we are trying to build at the club, praising the board other times, the players.
Now if he does walk out on us, surely it shows what a shallow charlatan he really is, as all of the above would have meant nothing to him really.
I really hope it is put to bed tonight though, and he insists he wants to stay.
