Has anyone enjoyed the Match Day Restaurant experience? I see that as a Season ticket holder I can upgrade to this for £45. Seems expensive. Thoughts?

Another fleece the fans ploy ?....maybe OUFC should try serving up some home wins first.....thus giving a miniscule return for the substantial increases to st and match day tickets this season!

Yes very good, do you get access to a box or just restaurant facilities.
For me good as a one off experience.

As a season ticket holder you get access to the restaurant only. Bit of a pain if you want the half time stuff and you are in the North stand!
(as I understood it the last time I enquired)

True, but if that was me I would change my seat to suit the circumstances.

Yeah I think the season ticket is just costing, sure it says in the blurb that u get a seat behind the directors box
Yes you get a seat behind the directors box if you're not a season ticket holder. With the meal this costs £79. If you're a ST holder then you have have the lunch by paying £45 but presumably you have to sit in your own seat.

Talk to Rosy or Adam via the ticket office for details. 01865 337503 or 01865 337513

I've eaten twice in the restaurant and thought the food was terrible on both occasions.

Would you mind telling us what is on the menu and why it was so bad. Am thinking of going myself so would welcome some feedback.

The first time was about four years ago. Can't remember the starter but the main was a shepherd's pie which was, frankly, swill. Tasteless mince swimming in a watery gravy. Last time was last season. Starter was the almost ubiquitous ham hock terrine, which was OK. Main a bog-standard chicken breast arrangement. Edible.

Of course, this is just my experience and the standard might well have gone up this season. But comparing it to other sports hospitality food I've had (Leicester City, Harlequins, for a couple of examples), it was definitely League Two.

Yes, but 4 years ago that's where we were! Hopeful it's now League 1. Anyone have a more recent experience of the food?
