Conned a few times by wycombe players but had decent ish game ....just about at 7 from me

The poll is up now
Good man!

Have just voted a 7. Makes a refreshing change to be positive about an official. Was impressed how quickly he showed Wycombe that he was not going to be a pushover nor was he ignorant of the laws of the game. He did get bamboozled a couple of times but, all in all, a good day.
I daresay, had he seen the Akinfenwa incident first hand, it would have been a straight red. Holding a player by the throat is not the recommended method to influence his opinion. :ROFLMAO:

I thought he let advantage play well but did fall for some of Arseworth’s tactics a bit. 6 from me.

The officiating crew were all over the various ways in Wycombe step around the fringes of the rules and it kind of nullified some of their game. I thought in general, the Ref was good, got some bits wrong for both sides, but kept the game under control.

I'm sure Wycombe fans and players think he was bad but that was because they weren't allowed to Ref the game

Considering the difference in approach and use of the dark arts by both teams, I thought the Ref was as good as the Ref on Wednesday. So I have awarded him the same score of 8.

Could maybe have given Akinfenwa a straight red and he got conned for Gorrin's caution but that is on Kashket, with the karma that Akinfenwa got sent off in the aftermath.
