So who should we approach or Interview ?

John Coleman belongs in that category of manager who excels in being the underdog. I can’t imagine that he’d be happy coming to a club so much bigger and with much higher expectations. Him and Accrington are a good fit in a similar way to Keith Hill and Rochdale and Paul Tisdale and Exeter, so I’d be surprised if he wanted the gig here.

Alan Stubbs is a curious one. His spell at Rotherham was a disaster but could anything have saved them anyway? The season last year for them unravelled so quickly and they were relegated by 1 April and ended up 28 points behind the nearest spot to stay up. I don’t think that their relegation was all his doing.

I’m dubious of records in Scotland. Aside from Windass and Johnson (the former had loads of form in England to start with), it’s never been a very happy hunting ground for us with bang-average to terrible players signing for us from north of the border or at the very least proving some measure of success up there afterwards – Mackay, Townsley, Lilley, Kinniburgh, Twigg and so on. I have the same scepticism about managers!

I can assure you that the vast majority of large PLC developers that work in the south of England and on new build sales work to a 28 day exchange deadline.

But that's not what you said was it. You said 'In fact, new build developers will work to exchange deadlines of 28 days in almost all circumstances.' which I can assure you, just isn't true.

Back the point, I have no problem with the board taking their time over the appointment, to some extent once the other slots are filled, we have our pick of what's left, however I do worry that the 'holding pattern' that we are currently in may drag on with other negotiations that are going on. If it goes on too long then it's not just the forum that may start imploding.

We get us up and he can excel with us being the under dog in the championship[emoji16]

Considering most people think Brown was rubbish at Southend he was there long enough so must have done something right.

Finding out that Tiger was back on the scene on Saturday took the wind out of my sails somewhat. Not that I’ve particularly got anything against the guy, it’s just the timing of it again. After DE took the action he did with the manager situation and then started to make statements about the recruiting of a replacement, on the back of positive actions regarding the M.D. and academy, I really started to think that everything was aligning again to push the club forward after a period of stutter.

Then we get Tiger by all accounts wandering around the changing rooms and managers office after the game with no attempt to conceal it from anyone. This at a time when we need a new manager to steady things on the field, with no hint that that’s coming to any conclusion.

Sorry but I feel a little bit like the P**s is being extracted by someone somewhere.. all back to square one again. Is it all pantomime and show because they must realise, us, the paying customers, are watching and are going to want answers

Hmmm. A tiger prowling round the Kash stad again? Errr ground share with Red ink til our new ground at Bista Village is built anyone? ?

And u don’t think those staff appointments, manager sacking and other changes might be happening with tigers knowledge or say so ?
Who knows? All I know is all this uncertainty, at least amongst the fan base, can’t be healthy

Alan Stubbs or Phil Brown ?

Brown by a country mile although i’d prefer neither. Very worrying
that Stubbs has reportedly been interviewed.

No disrespect to Stubbs but I just don’t see him being a good fit here. Did well in Scotland but had an absolute nightmare in England. I’d hope we could do better if we’re ambitious to push on for the championship. His appointment would indicate to me we've struggled to attract our initial target, he’s got a lot to prove.

I don’t even want to think about Brown...

I’d rather have Wayne brown or even Charlie Brown or Mrs Brown. Than that orange pillock

Alan Stubbs has had an interview. Certainly prefer him over Lee Clark or Phil Brown but definitely not the best option out there, likes his teams to be quite direct compared to what we are, lump it up field.

Where did you hear about Stubbs, please post link?
