Up the cup!

Good chance to give some fringe players game time, but at the same time let's not do a West Ham. Keep the defence rock solid and the match will win itself.

Going for a 0-3 with Baptiste, Henry and Dickie scoring for the Ox.

Come on you Yellows!

I'd hope we play a fairly mixed squad:

Eastwood

Long Dickie Moore Berkoe

Sykes Mousinho Baptiste

Agyei Taylor Forde

Subs: Stevens, Jones, Gorrin, Sole, Henry, Lofthouse, Stevens/Lopes

I think most are agreed that Agyei needs some game time to see where he's at with this squad. But for Hall only being back in training today, I'd have him as a striker. But from clips I've seen of him, he could do more damage in the wing position.

Mousinho in the DM position as I'm not sure if we need Gorrin's all action tackling so much today. What we definitely don't need is yellow cards for key players in the early stages of this competition, as I think it's only 2 needed in total for a suspension.

Mostly youth on the bench, with a couple of senior pros in case a shock is on the cards. Lopes will probably get the nod as our bench striker, but Stevens seems to be getting a lot of goals for the U18s, would be nice to give him a glimpse of the first team.

I will say I'd hope we're capable of at least 3 goals. Let's say... Taylor, Sykes, Mous (pen)

I think play are strongest team get a few goals ahead and bring on the youth score line I think 1-6 on our day we’re to good for most teams in league one so we should be to good for a team in non league

Given we’ve had over a week since the last game and a long break after this one as well I don’t think we need to rest players too much, but on the other hand we also don’t want to take risks with key players or anyone suffering from a knock/injury. That means I’m not sure that I’d risk Cadden or Ruffels coming back in, and I’d be tempted to rest Fosu, Henry, Dickie and Gorrin as well. Mackie is banned next league game so may as well play.

Eastwood
Long Mousinho Moore Berkoe
Sole
Sykes Baptiste
Agyei Mackie Forde

I don’t think this team will play and I’m sure a lot will disagree but in my opinion that lineup should be good enough to see us through.

Sole aside (reckon he's a good bench option), that team should be good enough. Sure a lot of others will want to see us play our best options from the start though.

Eastwood
Long Dickie Moore Berkoe
Sykes Gorrin Baptiste
Agyei Taylor Forde

0-3, Taylor x2 + Baptiste

should win but H+Y will be right up for this - got a feeling it’s going be a replay at fortress breezeblock when we’ll trash them

KR has said he will change the team for both from tomorrow’s team and Tuesdays team so I would expect Fosu to play some game time probably tomorrow’s game and then rest him as we have no game next week that would give him a much well earned race.
KR has said he wants to win this game as we could make some serious money, we win tomorrow neither tv coverage that’s over 100k who knows the next round could also be lucrative, so I do expect a strong side to start tomorrow, with the fringe players starting Tuesday.

Far too dismissive. We’ll win, but not by much.

I think it will be a solid and professional 2-0 to get the job done. It won't be easy, but the way we are performing we can approach the game with confidence and put away the usual fears of an away game in the cup, lower opposition and on live TV worries that we often have!

Agree. Put a strong side out tomorrow and try and get the job done.
Then Tuesday play the fringe players and give the likes of Fosu, Gorrin some time off to recover.

Eastwood
Long, Dickie, Moore, Berkoe
Baptise, Gorrin, Henry
Sykes, Taylor, Fosu

Play a strong team in this one, try and get the game won early to make changes at half time then play a different team midweek. Plenty of time to recover before the next league game.

Stevens
Long Jones Moore Berkoe
Mous
Sykes Baptiste Forde
Agyei Mackie

SUBS: Taylor, Lofthouse, Gorrin, Lopes, Sole, Cadden, Eastwood

Thats the team I would play tomorrow and on Tuesday, as it gives all the really key players time to rest and recover from injuries, knocks and fatigue, while at the same time giving minutes and experience to those that need it.

There's not a lot of experience in the side, but with Long, Forde, Mous and Mackie, there's enough to win a match against a team 4 leagues below us, and then a meaningless run out on Tuesday, and with next Saturdays game postponed, it's a perfect (and rare) opportunity to give a lot of key players an extended rest.

COYY

Fully agree with resting players, but sole and Berkoe would be lost playing within the first team. Neither are anywhere near ready. Having seen Berkoe a few times, he really is miles away from being genuine cover for the first team, which I believe he was first seen as.

I’ve seen Berkoe a few times and I disagree, I certainly wouldn’t have him over Ruffels and I’d be worried if he was facing Ipswich or Wycombe away, but he’s been ok when I’ve seen him, a pacy but raw young player, should be able to do a job against non-league opposition, especially with an experienced CB next to him talking him through the game. Which games specifically has he disappointed you in?

Can’t believe some of the sides being suggested here . No mucking about, play our strongest team. We need all the Cup prize money going.

Eastwood
Cadden
Ruffs
Dickie
Mous
Gorrin
Baptiste
Henry
Sykes
Taylor
Fosu

bench
Stevens Long Moore Mackie Forde Agyei Hall

play the b team on Tuesday.

Cadden and Ruffs only just back training today after injuries.

Random Kid sounds like a prospect though.

Both fullbacks straight back from injury to start? Risky. Also if Taylor gets injured we’ll have no strikers for Southend
