31st October today .... anyone told the buffoon PM that 'Ditch means Ditch!' ? ;)

He said "He would rather be dead in a ditch than to ask for an extension". It is all about context.......

Unfortunately the House forced his hand and defied the 17.4 million voters.

At least an election with a large Tory majority will fill in a few ditches...... mostly with ousted Labour MP`s....

Can anyone really trust Boris? He's flip flopped around policy positions, is also - by all accounts - a horrid person and his only care in the world is clearly himself.

But while a large swathe of the electorate hates him for it.....probably even more love him. Because he's very good at making impassioned speeches about whatever is his populist policy position of the moment, and he's outstanding at self-promotion and has name-recognition through-the-roof - and let's not try and deny that this goes a long way in politics.

Chuka is like a mini-Boris, just on the other side and much less successful.
The fact that he's a bit of a t**t is something that only a very small proportion of his electorate is going to know or care about...….
And while I do know and care about it......I'm still going to grit by teeth and vote for him because I'm a fairly centrist remainer.
It's a different level of trust. Boris hasn't flip flopped around parties after saying he wouldn't do it but like most politicians, policy is a whim of the moment and prone to change. Chuka stands a good chance, but looking at the changes in the Tory back office, I can see him being ruthlessly got at for his loyalties... Let's see

Give it up. 17.4 million is a small preportion of 60 million. Good for the house.

17.4 million who got off there backsides and voted and will do so again...... and "slightly more" than the 600 or so MP`s.

I know polls aren`t worth tuppence but Boris currently has a 37% showing.

Now it depends on what strategic alliances are formed in the next few weeks but, if the Brexit party (11%) get on board in some way, its decimation for Corbyn and co.

Well, this is the key question, eh? At the moment, it looks like Farage won't be jumping into bed with Johnson. If he splits the Tory vote, then it could well be a hung parliament, with a combination of Labour, LDs and SNP forming the larger grouping.

I don't think they'll form an official coalition, but a confidence and supply arrangement to support a minority government with the promise of a second referendum on leaving with a deal v remain would then be very much on the cards.

It's all up in the air, really.

Whatever happens with the Brexit party, I cannot wait to see Nigel Farage's ritual humiliation on election night.

Watch as he is beaten in to 3rd place behind a pissed bloke in a beer stained Santa costume, representing the "Christmas Party" (newly formed to add to the festive fun).

All our xmas's come at once[emoji1787]

"For the 8th time Nigel, everyone thinks you're a prick"
