Hayes & Yeading Away - Sunday 10th, 2:15pm

OWS ....

Live on BT Sport. Ah well was never going to be on a Saturday ?

The FA there, ruining what could have been a great away day.
Why are they ruining what could have been a great away day it’s still on the weekend what difference does early Sunday afternoon or a Saturday 3pm kick off make those who will be lucky to get tickets will still go the rest of the fan base can watch at home or in the pub

Football is for Saturdays at 3pm. Pre & Post Match pub crawls in London on a Saturday are brilliant. Try it on a Sunday & your boss wont be too happy on the Monday...

Is there really no way the TV companies could try and have the games scheduled better. Always seems to be a problem that keeps rearing its head, don't really know much about how it all works but surely there must be a better way of doing these things

They can't do Saturdays between 2.45 to 5 (or so) due to the rules and rightly so. So when else can they do it? Some people won't want an early Saturday kick off or a Saturday evening and others won't want a Sunday as evidenced on this thread. Friday and Monday night for the travelling supporter is a bad one though but again when can they do it?

As far as I can see we have the best time slot available with a 2.15pm kick off on the Sunday and it is sweetened with a £75k wedge of cash. Also, with the likely limited away capacity at Hayes & Yeading it means far more of us will be able to watch the game.

could play our U23s/U18s in that 'trophy' game ?.... itll probably be rescheduled though

Do they still have the stupid rules about X number of players from the previous REAL match must be included in the Leasing.com game?

7.3 Each EFL Club shall play its Full Available Strength in and during all Matches. Full Available Strength means the EFL Club must include at least four Qualifying Players in the ten outfield Players named in the starting eleven on the Team Sheet.
7.4 Qualifying Player means any Player who:
7.4.1 had started the immediately preceding First Team Fixture (as defined below);
7.4.2 subsequently starts the immediately following First Team Fixture;
7.4.3 is in the list of ten Players at the Club with the highest number of starting appearances in First Team Fixtures in the same Season;
7.4.4 has made forty or more starting appearances in First Team Fixtures or international equivalents (and not limited to the same Club or Season); or
7.4.5 is on standard loan from a Premier League Club or any EFL Club operating a Category One Academy.

5k fine for not playing a 'full strength' team

It’s worse for Carlisle fans away in London on a Friday night. Or Portsmouth away at Harrogate on the Monday night fixture.

Start with just the minimum 4 qualifying players one of which is Eastwood, sub two of them in the first 30 mins, then let Sam long play until the hour. Sorted.
