Having a bit of spare time today I though't I'd make this season's 5 game block thread. The points needed for each block to either go up automatically, play offs or just to avoid relegation has gone up by a point going off last season's table. We averaged 6.6 points per block of 5 games last season. It just goes to show how poor the league was last season due to us finishing 12th and yet this coming season we need to be getting 6 points per block just to stay up! Having said that, I do think the league is slightly weaker this season now we have lost Charlton, Luton and Barnsley.
We also look to have a slightly nicer start this year than last season.

Great work again DSW. Bar Fleetwood (bogey), Portsmouth, Sunderland, Ipswich and maybe Rotherham, they all look very winnable when you look at it. If we were playing with the same team and mentality that we finished last season with we would storm it no doubt.

Looking back, Blackpool always like to give us 3 points, as do Wycombe. We seem to surprisingly do well at home to Pompey too.
Southend can be added to the bogey teams.

Denissmith went off in a strop.
Shame as he was a good contributor

In relation to what/whom?
I cant remember specifically and it was quite quick. There was somebody else that left the forum at the same time as well (used to be a big poster until he joined the Oxvox committee)

That was Dave wasn't it? Was it to do with trolling or something? Don't recall the real reason but it seemed like a flounce off

shame they both went - enjoyed reading their contributions.
