Wow, a carbon neutral football club! A really inspiring read and just shows what can happen with an environmentalist at the helm. International reach - absolutely how things should be done in a climate emergency. Full respect - #thisisleadership

He's that green he wanted to move a team to a new stadium on a main road junction in the sticks that would have required supporters, including pretty much all home fans to drive to games. Especially when they have a good newish stadium (for their level) in the middle of Nailsworth.

Nothing positive here then??? lol
It's never about all or nothing. Every little helps and he is greener than 99.99% of people

When he shouts about his green credentials which Dale Vince has from the outset. The new stadium shows he is happy to be a hypocrite and ignore all of that when it involves money.

When the climate change / species extinction messages are so devastating to hear, it's human nature and a defence mechanism to try and ignore the situation or discredit someone rather than applaud them for trying to make positive environmental change for our kids!
Vince may come across as a tit through the media but he's trying to make a difference not only through football but also his businesses.

Thought I would reignite this thread based on the report about the "Trough of Greed"......

"A study of 100 games played in the UK involving Premier League teams between 19 January and 19 March 2023 has given the first insight into the volume of the controversial journeys, some as short as 27 minutes.

And for the first time the study also shows details of 'positioning' flights - where near-empty planes are flown to convenient airports, sometimes across the UK, in order to then transport players and staff to fixtures."

But we are all doing our bit & going green yes?
