If only we'd contrived to play NZ - by far the least in-form of the semi-final teams.

It's not so much that we should have contrived to play New Zealand. If we'd just won the games we should have against Pakistan and Sri Lanka, then we'd have topped the group and would have been playing them! Playing them is India's reward for being the most consistent team in the round robin...….

Anyways, probably best that they come back and finish the full game tomorrow rather than try and play some truncated 20 over DL game tonight. Although the weather forecast isn't completely clear then either.

If it does get rained off again, then India go through courtesy of the aforementioned group winning.
