How long before someone does this with a milkshake containing acid......

Well Eggs never progressed to a rock or a hand grenade so why such a leap here....

My amusement was in the details of his analysis by the way. Chucking stuff over people isn't the way to go.

Wasnt a comment on you or your amusement, just a more general one now that milkshake chucking is becoming the in thing at the moment.

some may be getting what they wished for

Well that will cause resistance from Remainers and soft Brexiteers in Parliament to harden even further. We move closer to a no deal or no Brexit vote in Parliament if that is the approach he wants to take.

Here you are Brexit gang. None of you seem capable of reading longer sentences, let alone engaging with them. But I feel I should post them even as you sink deeper into the Brexit delusions that the likes of Farage are feeding you with.

"For it is crucial to understand that what became May’s deal was not a ‘compromise’ between hard and soft Brexit. It was (the first step towards) what hard Brexit looks like when put into practice. The Ultras haven’t been asked to compromise but to accept the practical realities of what hard Brexit means. But they have refused to do that and, instead, have doubled down on the lies and insisted that she betrayed them, and that her failure was a lack of true belief."

"
But fundamentally her failure arose from the structural flaw of Brexit. Doing it is claimed to be the will of the people. But it can only be done at economic and geo-political costs that range from high to horrendous, which the people will not accept. Brexiters claim it can be done without any costs and, even, with benefits and persuaded a majority to vote for it on that basis. May tried to prove that true, but it was a lie. Because it was a lie, it couldn’t be delivered.

Her successor will have exactly the same choice: face up to the lie, or face failure. To be elected leader by the Tory Party it will be impossible to do the former. So the consequence will be the latter. The only question is whether that failure will mean abandoning Brexit to avoid its costs, and facing the populist accusation of betrayal. Or agreeing the kind of deal that May came up with in order to somewhat mitigate the worst costs of Brexit, and facing the populist accusation of betrayal. Or proceeding with no-deal Brexit with all its horrendous costs, and facing the populist accusation of betrayal."

Yep, but plenty of macho 'hard man' Brexiteers will be salivating at the prospect of such a 'strong' leader, even if he's proved in the past that he is untrustworthy and will shift his principles whenever he needs to in order to regenerate his political career.

EDIT - Just seen Boris on TV saying that he would take us out immediately, but is unable, at this stage, to explain exactly how. Possibly because he hasn't a clue? As Pete from Blackpool on Gogglebox would say, 'what a cock'.
Pete from Blackpool on Gogglebox for PM!!

Looks like we can kick this thread into touch now. According to Geoff Boycott on 'Good Morning Britain' we have nothing to fear from Brexit because "we fought two world wars and came out on top".

Yes, he really did say that and, presumably, thought it too.
Oh dear, oh dear. Stick to Cricket Geoff, please!!

I've got an idea.

When Brexit happens, those who voted for it can have the benefits or losses in the forms of increased/decreased taxes/benefits/NHS access that ensue spread among them equally. Those who voted to remain keep the same standard of living we had before this whole debacle started.

That would have 100% backing of everyone.

PS Is anyone selling a house in Scotland, preferably close to Grenoble Road? ;)
