But sour grapes comes to mind, wonder if there was another referendum and the remain one and the leavers moan, I'm sure the remainers would be gobing off that the leavers were sore losers and as soon as the leave groups start asking for another referendum the remainers would say democracy has ruled.

Well Farage have himself said they would push for another referendum before he knew the result.

Is was seeing this ridicules message on the bus that swayed me from voting Leave to voting Remain. It was at this point I realised there was no real plan
There were ideas and possibley a plan could have formulated out of these ideas, but the EU were going to make it as difficult as possible for fearing 3/4 other countries may follow suit.

The EU have been consistent, the ones who have made it difficult are us.

You have a point bazzer.
I do think the EU have been deliberately obstructive and Theresa May is more than happy to go along with that. Her promises that we will leave the EU on 29 March will cost her her job before very long.
The Conservative Party May be out of office for a generation and Labour with Corbyn its chief antisemite must be losing votes like soup in a sieve.
I’m not sure markedox what you mean by Nigel,Farage using xenophobic bile in the campaign. I have yet to read about it in the press

The problem is we've said what we want and they've no but this is what we want you to have which isn't acceptable, and if that obnoxious cow in no 10 quit we may end up with someone who have a pair of balls and Tell Barnier and Co where to stick it and come bCk with a better plan.

If there was a workable plan that would stand up to scrutiny I would back Brexit all the way. Im not interested in the politics of Brexit, just what will work for the country. Brexit looked dubious during the referendum, and as far as I can make out, looks complete lunacy now.

Having said that, if an expert in the field of Trade Deals or Economics stands up tomorrow and can confidently explain how it will work and why we should be doing it, I will happily change my mind.

That's the problem the EU don't want us to leave so are making as difficult as possible with a view to get heads turned.

The EU not wanting us to leave is no reason for us to get this far without a plan. Our plan should have been decided before the referendum.
Our problem in negotiations is that it was never clear what we exactly wanted from the EU

Really and what is it we have said we want?

If you mean all the benefits of EU membership without any of the costs as was suggested by some of the Leave campaign then that was Lala land/promising Unicorns rubbish.

The stupid foreign bastards.

Not letting us have all the good bits without any of the less good bits. Who do they think they are?!

It’s covering* old ground this argument.
When the vote took place I don’t believe that people were considering whether they’d like this to stay or go. They clearly voted out and Cameron told us we would be out, no customs union, no single market etc
In the end what we have is government going against the electorate and the EU doing more than their level best to keep us in.
We should be out and be saving £12 billion a year. Negotiate treaties when we leave

Dave Davis was our best option but the silly cow in no 10 clocked that all up.

Didn't say that but where we're trying to sort a deal they come back with a no and not because of the good bits. A no deal should have been put to them and then you would see the EU doing there damndest to make a good deal with us.

I see Maybot wants to bring the deal to Parliament again. Heaven knows why after the Euro Election mauling, but she is nonetheless. Dying breath of her premiership, once again playing out in an embarrassing way.

I'm not sure Corbyn wants a deal unless it's what he wants - why would he and do we know what he wants? And he comes across as unbothered about Labour's leave areas, so will do what he does.

On the point of 350 million, someone did prove it was correct, but a rather fruitful interpretation of the money. Not sure why they'd waste time the courts don't have on bringing a legal case. Seems rather self indulgent and attention seeking to me.

Corbyn wants to stay in the customs union and and stay close to the single market, the EU said yes we could provided we keep paying into the EU (not as much at present) but none the less still pay and have to abide by the EU rules and we can't have a say in it, that's what Labour want..... They're total nut jobs
