The five sites...

Why don’t they look at a ground share with oxford city or Thame or Witney ect, some team with land we that we can buy 50% and expand, if we went to Thame with capacity of 6000??? And build one stand at a time with corners to max the capacity use temp stands if needed for a bit, then in two or 3 seasons you would look at doubling capacity, you could carry on if needed, that way two clubs share the expense with the lower league club getting a pot of cash for the investment, no more renting bye bye Dick Turpin ( hold on he had a mask)

In what league?

So move totally out of Oxford and go from a ground where we are averaging over 7000 with 2 crowds this season of over 10000 to a ground with 6000?
The boards ambition nay just be questioned?

If you say Thame don’t they have 6500? Put up a 3000 temp stand putting it up by 2000 ?over the summer say, then your looking at 8500 and you could even do 2 sides, short term your not paying 1m in rent and your building, what other options do we really have? Pay for a new ground? 15-20m or buy FK out and do it up? He will not sell he’s on such a good thing. We need to move forward and if we need to go to a smaller ground before getting bigger I’m up for that, anything to stop renting to our theif of a landlord

Have any of you ever actually been to thame? If it's not a charity or specialist food shop they aren't interested. No way on earth 7,000 football fans are getting in there ? (and yes, I was born and raised in Thame)

The logistics surrounding a move away from the Kasstad are against any move to a temporary and unsuitable site such as Thame. Plus, I don't believe that the EFL would sanction such a move anyway.
It's not sustainable long term to stay at Grenoble Road and FK must know that from having run the club himself. The sorry story is that successive owners of the club have imagined (how, is another debate) that they would just pick up the phone, have a chat and the lease and service charge would just disappear.

Where ST has, apparently, got it wrong was thinking that the arbitration would be successful. That DE was allowed to walk away owing a substantial sum to Firoka, is incredible! What was ST thinking? Who advised him at the point of due diligence that this was all good?

Short term u would be paying over £1m rent as u would still owe fk till the end of licence and would be paying for the new site on top

No way could you do anything around Thame....6k stadium currently ?. I’m playing in the stadium next week ?

This conversation does raise the obvious question: What the hell IS the solution to all of this? I think everyone is agreed the current situation can’t carry on much longer.

What “current situation “ ? That tiger is struggling to pay his bills?

Yet get it wrong and we could quite easily end up as Coventry have just found themselves. Homeless with the prospect of playing miles away, with no guarantee of returning

I meant the stadium situation but I guess the uncertainty over finances is connected. The situation as it stands where the club and landlord are at loggerheads must be resolved. As should the fact we play in a substandard, unfinished stadium. A proper home should be a definite priority going forward to my mind.

I’ve said it before, a stadium like this would sit nicely on Grenoble Road. I can but dream...

Why are they at loggerheads, because the club are not paying their bills on time.
I have no problem with the stadium, we can’t afford much better so have to get on with it.

Kassam was at loggerheads with the club even when the club was paying the bills on time.
Unfortunately he has an axe to grind and I suspect nothing the club does will change his attitude.

Disagree. It is holding the club back in so many ways as has virtually every body at the club in the past 10 years said.
Clearly something is going on regarding a potential new stadium. I reckon you are the only one happy with the Kassam as it is.
