Fan's View - Coventry away

Top stuff as always Paul.
I wanted to comment on Jamie Mackie being made captain for the day. Gave him free reign to berate the officials without the threat of immediate sanction. If that was an idea from KR, then well done him. (never thought I'd say that!)

Yes and it was Mackie who's persistance resulted in the corner we got the goal from.

"Yes and it was Mackie who's persistance resulted in the corner we got the goal from." It's this basic non-spectacular stuff that's so important in a winning team and is often overlooked by many.

After all the shenanigans last week I did find it amusing seeing the ball outside the arc for the corner which led to the goal.
After all those away games where we have had more possession (Sunderland, Wycombe, Bradford etc) and lost or drew, then at Blackpool and now Coventry we have less possession and win. Is this actually saying something about the quality of League 1 players?
The official crowd figure was 14,000, I reckon the "people in attendance" was more like 8,000, another oddity of modern football or the idiosyncrasies of Coventry City FC.

Absolutely.
If anything we were more streetwise than Coventry.
Good to see.
