Oxford Ultras will disband at the end of the 2018/19 season. Thankyou for all your donations over the last 10 years.

Edit: All recurring monthly donations to the group Paypal have been cancelled, huge thanks to those who donated every month, but rest assured it should stop them coming through now :)

cracking displays in the east stand. Is there a new generation to step up?

Not that I know of, the opportunity is there though for any group that want to have a crack at it :)

Shame really you attempted to bring colour and noise to a very drab stadium .To many obstacles I would of thought , the stadium company , oufc officials, and some of our own supporters who would rather sit in silence .
Thanks for the last 10 years

Sorry to see this go. The match day experience will be poorer without it. A shame that (I suspect) the stadium company and current ownership have seen an end to one of the few positives around the club. Thanks for the time and effort to create such displays

If this means an empty back wall of the East Stand and no flags or banners, then it's a sad loss.

It begs the question of why are you lads packing it in, and why now?

Thanks, and well done, for your efforts over the years.

Without being involved, and only looking in from outside, it looks to have become increasingly tough to operate...this weekend:

Dont wish to detract from the thread, should be one of thanks for the input of the Ultras over the last decade.

Cheers for the past ten years .....breeze block will be quieter and duller without the Ultras

Maybe someone will ask M.D. on Rad ox five min fans forum why OUFC made it so problematic for the Ultras instead of welcoming what they bring to home games match day experience

Where have @OxVox got to with the displays at the back of the stands? Recent notes suggested that costs were higher than expected but haven’t heard anything on this for a while. It’ll be needed now more than ever!

My guess is that its got something to do with the Stadium Co or Mr Kassam himself. Thats why it hasn't happened yet.

After having a fringe involvement at the very beginning, I'm saddened to hear this. Can only presume it is a vast array of reasons that have been multiplying over time. I know a few of the "Originals" from back in 2009 have moved away for Uni/careers/family etc but it was great to see it be taken on by the current lot and really did become one of the leading groups in the UK.

Will any of the banners that are hung from the OM Stand back wall be stored anywhere?
Whilst acknowledging the hard work, money and hours spent on production of them all, it would be a tremendous shame if they were to be destroyed. Perhaps they could be made available for any volunteers who would be interested in hanging them on a match day?

Just because the official ultras group is disbanding - it doesn't mean every ounce of colour and support they bring has to vanish with them.
However, a lot of it comes down to the appetite of the fan base (and ultimately the club) for trying to make the breezeblock have some kind of identity and atmosphere about it.

I remember the first time I saw the group in action - away at Burton when they expected to be promoted from the conference. They'd clearly put a huge amount of work into the flags and banners.

Thanks for working so hard on it over the years. The impaled Robin was my highlight, particularly when compared to their 1.5 rolls of tin foil.

You'll be missed.

This is a bit of a hammerblow in my opinion for the atmosphere and general matchday experience. I think their influence has been severely underestimated in propping up the vibe and attracting fans to gameday.

If Tiger wanted to start winning over fans, or Niall, he’d be reaching out to find out how he could encourage them to continue.

Massive marketing tool right there.
