Ask Tiger

Also rather worrying to hear the M.D. say that we may get relegated before we achieve the goal of reaching the Championship!

My suspicion is that all of Tiger's hopes are pinned on Thohir coming in and chucking some of his money about. So unfortunately we'll have to wait for him to finish running the election campaign that he's involved with first. By that point we could be back in League 2 and he might decide he's actually not interested.

In sum, I think we're screwed.

The general message seems to be ‘there’s a rocky road ahead, please stick with us’.

I suppose that’s what we have to do..

What an indictment of the management of our club ,that they could not foresee the issues that have occurred on their watch, normally I’m a class half full type of fan, now I’m three quarters empty.
I
I actually cannot believe what I am reading at the moment. Little boys with lemonade stands have a better grip on their business dealings than this bunch. My lemonade has ran out and my glass is now empty. Always the (somewhat blind) optimist but that interview is very worrying to me and to go on to state that they see further issues on the horizon quite frankly gives me the shits...

Happy Friday, gentlemen! :(

The barman was very professional

So, in summary, they have buggered up pretty much every significant area of the club, and we can expect more financial difficulties before the season is out?

Wonderful......

Well I'll probably get loads of stick but I'm staying optimistic about things.
I don't know who's who on here and what connections if any they have to the club but was said that the club was in a right mess when Darryl Eales seemingly lost interest and was selling up, so to get everything put right it will take time. Whether tiger is the right person or not is debatable but can understand moving funds into the country would be harder now. And surely if things were that bad people would be wanting to get out as soon as possible for the sake of their own reputations.
As mentioned on the radio, if we were around the top end of the table would people be so vocal about things.
Time will tell I guess but I'll be still behind the team with my support

“A plan is in place to restore confidence.”
“You just need a plan and you need to stick to it.”
Is that the plan Tiger came up with when he came here? In which case we’re f****d. Or is a new plan? In which case what exactly is your “plan”, Mr Clueless?

Er.... but we’re not “at the top end of the table.” Somewhat significant, isn’t it?!

Are all the people who have pointed at the plumes of smoke bellowing out of the club at various points and shouted “FIRE!” still conspiracy theorists, bullshitters and scaremongers?
I also hope there's some serious soul searching by the OxVox committee who allowed this takeover to go ahead without a squeak of public comment despite the huge concerns even the most cursory of due diligence revealed.

Depressing reading indeed. Just the sort of club that potential strikers wouldn't touch with a barge pole. However....Can't help but feel that the MD has been selected as a 'duty scapegoat' and will fall on his sword pretty soon.

Tell me, when the club goes into administration how many points from our massive total, will be deducted?

I actually believe, some middle management at the club WANT us to be relegated so that they can reduce the wage bill(s).

That interview in the Mail is also an attack on the s**t and pathetic recruitment of Karl Robinson and you have to question that very seriously as one of the key factors in where we find ourselves.

Cameron Branagan and Rob Dickie - bought in by Tiger - young, hungry and investments. A la Gavin Whyte and Mark Sykes whenever he'll get a look in.

All the other crap, brought in by Karl and Co. Meanwhile, the manager still out shopping his mates - Kashi being a 30 year old guy who has no value.

An MD & others who has not paid attention to keeping his eye on the detail. Staggering admission.

If the future is all about finding these little gems again and then selling them on they may has well walk now..what a great idea to keep breaking your squad up every season and then gambling that the conveyor belt keeps churning them out.
Does anybody really believe that we can reach the championship with such a model without further investment on top, let's not be fooled by play off places as that's another gamble and we have been the best part of 30 pts + from auto promotion. we've also seen players we've been in for go to higher based clubs and that's without bringing the likes of Wigan Blackburn and the bigger clubs that drop into league one.

Is anyone genuinely surprised with NM’s comments?

It’s plainly obvious that there was never a plan from day one, just some sort of vague aspiration.

HMRC. Player recruitment. Embarrassing first press conference. Shambolic ‘wow’ manager appointment. Deliberate misinformation about the amount of rent paid to Kassam. Promises made to Oxvox broken. etc, etc.

The buck stops with Thanakarnjanasuth, this crisis is his making. He is responsible.

Which begs the question around recruitment...

KR is Tiger's man. Tiger clearly has the authority to override KR (eg Maynard), so why continue to fund these errors?

Brannagan and Dickie funded by tiger, however Sykes and Whyte recommendations from Michael O'Neill before KR fell out with him.

The amazing part of that article along with lack of detail is:

He said: “May there be other issues for us to deal with between now and the end of the season, both on an operational level and a financial level? Maybe, yes.

“But we will deal with them as we have done so far.”

The only way this stuff has been dealt with is incompetently. to the go on and say:

“I am of the philosophy that if you get your plan right, you don’t have to lose significant amounts of money in football.

“You just need a plan and you need to stick to it.

What experience does our MD have of having a plan and sticking to it at a football club? The plan cant be very good if that which you are trying to implement still doesn't deal with the real issues.

Good to see we've reached the 'I was right all along' phase.
Anybody who gets the level of abuse dished out on this forum is well within their rights to throw an elbow at times like this. Don’t want an elbow? Don’t try to run people over with your car.

We’ve got bigger things to collectively cry about than a handful of people raising an eyebrow as if to say “Well, now that that’s been proven correct, shall we crack on?”

I'm glad you feel better after such a cathartic release.

Hang on a minute Bradders there are some on here who said Kashi is one for the club a DM to cover Mous. And as you say has no value to the club in any form whatsoever.

Does all this crap being spilled from the club with the first instalment yesterday from NM A new f*****g five year plan?
