Jamie Mackie- have we finally seen a glimpse of him being effective ?

Whilst only on the pitch for the second half at Fleetwood, for the first time I didn’t find myself caught up in his usual short comings.
There’s a reason for that, by and large there wern’t any.
The change of formation, after he replaced Brown, brought out a positive rather than futile attitude to his way of playing.
Gone was the triangular running track he normally marks out when playing.
With White on the right wing and Graham on the left, there was a new impetus and he was able to at last feed off the balls coming his way .
He made the final pass for the first goal and stretched out to score the second- both in the box !
Is this the way forward ?
Will we see Brown on the bench, with Mackie
Still st No9 but with a new purpose ?

He shouldn't be starting games, needs to be used as a second half sub. He's finished after 30 minutes

He's played more minutes than ever intended I think, were desperate for someone to come in and share the load. Didn't go but Malcolm Shotton certainly had him down as the the difference in the second half.
