....signs for Cheltnumb. ?

Perhaps it's not such a good idea to go tomorrow, then?

The loan was for Barnett to have time to decide if he wanted to sign

Well he’s bound to score against us....
I wonder what the odds are for us to score tomorrow lol

Just as well, (yes I was at the match Jerome) because they shaded it IMHO.

I was a bit puzzled by who was left on the bench given our lack of strikers .....

watched it on tele.....does that still count as a boycott?? ;) ;)

Completely forgot about him but here he is in the Hereford squad for tonight's FA cup game against Portsmouth.

I remember being really disappointed that we didn't get him back in the day. He's had more clubs than I've had hot dinners.

Likewise. He was excellent for us. Weirdly, exactly the type of striker we could do with right now, hold the ball up, spread play, get in the box.

He was holding out for a better deal both times we went after him in the end he came to us for the steamer of the season and did pretty well however when we went after him in January he was holding out and I agreed with what Jerome said let’s move on and go for somebody else.

And I think that somebody else turned out to be Kemar Roofe, didn't it?

One of those Sliding Doors moments.....there's a parallel universe out there somewhere where Tyrone Barnett agreed to stay with us at the end of his loan spell, so we never signed Kemar, MApp never got us promoted, the club never caught Tiger's eye, and we're still a mid-table League Two club, now owned by Stewart Donald, managed by Phil Parkinson and Charlie is commercial manager, and has replaced PRB with himself so he can don his salmon pants and do the halftime entertainment.

[in all seriousness, I also thought Barnett was decent for us and wanted him to stay. But it shows that every now and again the grass is greener.......]
