Ex Player Canice Carroll - joins scum

The usual response from the usual bunch of keyboard warriors, clearly bereft of intelligence
Canice is a decent baller who, for one reason or another, wasn't able to make it into the starting 11 on a regular basis. I understand that KR didn't rate him and I heard the feeling was mutual. I suspect the move to Brentford was never about first team football, more about his own development. A subsequent loan to a club quite close to his Oxfordshire home makes complete sense.
Comparisons to Hitler and him becoming a muslim nicely sums up the mental capacity of Ox4Eva and Aylesbury Rich. Grow up lads

Shame you don't have the mental capacity to understand a joke when you read one. Now away and dry yer eyes...

He showed glimpses of how good he was, but was never consistent. His best game I thought was at the DW Stadium against champions elect Wigan. Played in the defensive midfield position he will do well.

Good luck to him I say.

I must admit to never wish luck to those going to that lot (apologies keepitreal)

Wow... that clearly went completely over your head!!

I imagine the more physical nature of League Two will suit him.

Nothing to do with him going to Swindon but was personally surprised that Brentford wanted him and thought it was a good bit of business for us. To me while he was always a player that got stuck in and had energy he lacked technical ability as well as nous. Having said that Appleton saw something in him.

Average player in a development set up bursting with better, younger players. Also a lad with a chip and a very questionable attitude..

Agree. Mapp always said he saw him ultimately in that position. He never looked comfortable having to play at full back with a white line hemming him in.
It strikes me that full back is a very specialist position yet lots of players get shoved out there and then fail.

You must be related to him with that response ?

While I am happy that he is still playing professional(ish) football, I am surprised that he would even contemplate going to them. As for ‘its near to home’ come on, he wasn’t far from Oxford when he was at Brentford, he surely could have found any number of clubs in the south-east to play for without turning out for those C***s.

Nailed on, Brentford is not much further away so he's talking shte.

Anyhow who cares let's move on folks as he does not matter anyhow!

He lives/stays in Brentford near the training ground as I sometimes drive past him walking to training when I am on the way to work. He wears a tracksuit, flip flops and carries his wash bag in the street like he just rolled out of bed and then left the house.

Seems playing for them would suit him
