The only thing that will catch the press, and therefore Tigers attention will be a poll of everyone’s quotes/opinions!

Well I’ve had enough. If Tiger really is serious about his ambitions for championship football we need to make damn sure we stay in league 1 this season. Change the manager now before it’s too late. This season, after all the pre-season promises, has been an embarrassment.

He is not though, serious that is, he is just another Ka$$am.

The fact that only 24 people have bothered to vote reflects the belief the supporters have that it will affect anything. Apathy is setting in and that only brings dire consequences

It's more because the poll (sack the manager) has little to do with the intention (showing Tiger we are concerned). I'm concerned with things around the club that go much further than the manager and sacking him - not that it will happen - goes little to assuage them.

I think such polls should always have a "put up or shut up" clause.
If you are that concerned for your club then get the money on the table and buy it or accept it for what it is.......... somebody else`s toy that they let you play with bits of for a nominal fee.
I very much doubt any of our previous owners (and I`ll include DE in that) are any more concerned about anything other than the figures on the balance books or their cheque for letting their toy go.

Buy it as a supporters group via a share issue............ we`ve got a potential 30-40k supporters ( based on Wembley attendances) take a 35k mid point, they all stump up £900 there`s £31.5 million on the table and folk will listen.

What could possibly go wrong..........................................................................................

Forgive me if I’m misunderstanding but are you really saying if you don’t buy the football club you shouldn’t have an opinion? It’s all relative, lots of people put more of their hard earned money into the club than they can really afford

Yes its relative. If you can`t afford it then review your life style choices.
I don`t notice Tesco/Sainsburys etc etc being that concerned about the punters walking through the door spending their money all they care about is the bottom line and the bonus paid to shareholders.
Our opinion exists but, in the grander scheme of things, it matters not one iota to the owner(s) or the shareholders.

If, however, the Club was owned by "us" then our opinion would hold more sway than that of some bloke with a big cheque book.... or not as the case may be.

I want to know what Niall McWilliams does? Is he in regular contact with Tiger can he as I’m sure he is aware of the sentiment of the fans and discuss the serious issue which befalls our great club.

A poll on here will have no affect on Tiger what so ever.
I'm also not too sure why the options are as they are when the thread title is about Tiger not Robinson?

The best way to get any response (which even then doesn't seem to work) is to use OxVox considering they are the supporters trust and represent the fans.

As much as I am uncomfortable about the situation at the football club I also know that my thoughts and opinions have little meaning to a multi millionaire who is playing real life football manager. I also don't believe sacking the manager will achieve very much at all, if anything. The problem is our MD who quite frankly is out of his depth it seems. The problems in the football club are a lot deeper than just the first team staffing.

Tesco’s would soon be concerned if people stopped buying from them. I can’t see our crowds holding up through much more of this, problems both on and off the pitch, I reckon a relegation could see us lose a thousand home fans, smaller away attendances and obviously less income from the FL, sponsors etc. Wonder how tiger will pay the bills with even less coming in?

At the oxvox open members meeting the M.D. said tigers and he speak 'everyday ' at 4.30am on the phone......the M.D. at the same meeting said ,as he hadnt got that information, that he'd get back on that to a number of questions ....to my knowledge he hasnt got back on any of them as yet.... make of his assertion that he speaks to tiger 'everyday' what you will, as hes said hell get back on many items ,but as yet hasnt.

What the md says and what the md does in reality may not be the same thing ?

Really? 'The problem is in our MD'?
Never mind the recruitment (manager and owner), on pitch performance (manager and players), poor uninformative relationship with the support (owner), mysterious board members (owner), lack of off field direction (owner), deteriorating stadium (Kassam and Firoka) etc etc etc - it's the part time MD that's the problem? Riiight...
However - I agree that he is out of his depth. Especially when we have an absentee owner. He doesn't seem to respond to supporters concerns or questions at all - in fact what IS he doing? With all the 'talent' on the board, can't they find someone of a bit higher calibre? Someone ST can trust to look after his train set when he's away?
And while I am a great supporter of OxVox, it is difficult to know quite what they can do when the owner simply refuses to answer questions in anything but the least informative way possible.

I thought it was made clear in a recent meeting that Niall McWilliams is no longer part time...

Maybe I should of rephrased it as the MD being one of the main problems.

You mention the recruitment, off field direction, uninformative relationship with the support but surely with an owner out of the country most of the time then surely that falls onto the MD to deal with? Otherwise what is the point of having a MD if he isn't going to assist with the day to day running of the club, making sure communication with the fans is as good as possible and implementing how the owner wants the club ran?

I'm pretty sure I read a while back he was increasing his hours to a full time role?

I would suggest OxVox need to be more vocal and start communicating with the club through the press.
