The problem is that candidate is likely to take votes off of Labour or the Tories, thus ushering the Lib Dem through.

Bicester and Woodstock has the potential to be the most interesting seat in the country. Tories currently on 29.1, Labour 28 and LD 26.5. It does feel like we need to collectively pick one or the other when it comes to the main two. Everyone dividing between them could split the vote and allow...

She is the cabinet member for planning, but Barry Wood was elected chair of the committee. Can anyone confirm what happens if a vote is a tie? I’m not sure.

Isn’t the green belt element where this gets a bit tricky? I’m sure they’re allowed to refuse on that basis alone. On the other hand, if all tories and Labour councillors vote for it, doesn’t the casting vote go to the chair of the committee? As of tonight that’s Barry Wood - a Tory.

    General Sky Sports EFL Deal

Apologies if this has already been discussed (please delete is so Admin), but I couldn't find it. The Sky TV deal next year is huge. It's a big change for League 1 and 2, but even more so in The Championship. They're televising 328 Championship games next season - there are 552 played in total...

I know I should just get over it, but the original site at SB really would’ve been something else. It’s a real shame we had to abandon that.

Are we on around 500 comments? Even removing say 2000 of the 5000 ST holders, that's still five in every six haven't replied.

New Stadium Plans - The Triangle - Planning

It’s important to hold your hands up when required, and I have to say when OUSP was first announced I was sceptical that a ‘club run’ initiative like that would be useful in challenging the club, but Janine and all others have been first class in not immediately jumping to the clubs defence, and...

No, he got re-elected last year sadly. He’s got another three years yet.

While you’re quite right that it’s likely they’ll become the ‘controlling group’, they’ll be a minority controlling group. They need 25 for outright control, that is simply not going to happen. CDC committee makeup is a reflection on party numbers. They’ll still be outnumbered by Tory and Labour...

New Stadium Plans - The Triangle - Planning

This was the YouGov opinion poll published this week. I think the Bicester seat is going to be the subject of national attention, there can’t be many seats where all three parties have a genuine shout. It would seem we need to decide if we’re back the Labour or Tory candidate. Splitting between...

Well we have done a lot of work in that space.

This lot could make up the controlling group of CDC in six weeks time 😳.

Given Stevenage have picked up around 1.7 points per game, they're likely to finish on around 78 points, which means we'll need another six wins from eight, and that's just to bring it down to goal difference. I just can't see it.

    Manager/Coach Des Buckingham

A further issue for Des is that even if he stays, sadly the pressure on him next season is going to be immense. He'll need a hell of a start to the season to win fans over. He's also going to need a board willing to give him a big transfer budget.

General Club/Fan Problems in a Nutshell

I feel partly responsible too for starting this 😂. I agreed with your sentiment though. I’m not entirely sure that these people actually exist. Or if they do, they’re a tiny constituency.

General Club/Fan Problems in a Nutshell

I know this is an older issue, but given a fan claimed this at the forum last week I’d be interested to know - are there any fans actively not attending because Kassam owns the ground we play at?
