It's such an odd feeling starting a day knowing it could pan out as a let down, or be one of the best days of your life, with not a lot in the middle.

I'm feeling very proud of the end of season that we've had and it feels like we're getting back what has been missing for a long time.

I desperately want us to do the job today, but if we don't make it then I'll take comfort from being in the company of 30,000+ fellow yellows and being able to look forward to a strong League 1 campaign next season.

Will be leaving Weston-super-Mare shortly. Meeting my brother in law at Amersham, three more at The Green Man and four more at the stadium! Went to Wembley in 1986 and 2010 but this is the first time since. One minute I think we’re going to win, the next I think we’ll struggle! Haven’t got a clue, but whatever happens I shall try to enjoy it! Have a great day everyone!

On my own from Gloucestershire soon, meeting up with family and friends in London. Come on Oxford

My wife was trying to convince me getting a half and half scarf is a good thing Because it’s something to keep from today

My reaction 😠
#1 those things are s**t
#2 I’m not a tourist
#3 why would you waste money on them

She got the point in the end

Just on the train at Oxford Parkway loads of space in the car park at the moment got straight on the train and we are on are way no lines at the moment.

I realise this was discussed in the build up thread but I am perplexed by the decision to include VAR in the final.

On a basic level, some things that were decided by referees/assistants eye for the whole season leading up to this point is now potentially decided using still images. In particular, I'm thinking about offside. If you're an "on-the-shoulder-of-the-last-defender-type" attacker, that has to create some doubt about making runs that you have been making for the past 48 EFL games.

It's effectively changing the rules for one game.

All true, but unfortunately it's also something the winning side will need to get used to next year.

I am trusting none of you are thinking about wearing you lucky but unwashed 2010 play off pants.

one can of Little Ox Lucky U demolished... just under an hour till my lift to Ox Parkway arrives

Also true but you get a whole pre-season to prepare rather than a week and a half.

Has that been confirmed anywhere? From what I just saw it was an April fools.

Des and Moore have been discussing it:
