Good to hear Karl talking about mental health. It's a hugely complex issue, and one that sometimes gets used as a weapon to judge others. But it is encouraging that the club is so open in looking at ways to address something that affects so many.

Fair play to the gaffer, you can really see how much he cares about mental health.

Hmmm, I think organisations, sports clubs etc want to be seen to be doing the right thing, but I would prefer them to concentrate on the job in hand. I think alongside death and taxes, being mentally and physically unwell for periods is a fact of life. This isn't always a happy life, but goodness me its an amazing experience.
I believe that you can (as documented by Dr Caroline Leaf) rewire your brain and feel better. If part of that process is to talk out loud to someone then so be it...
For me it helped to take some time off for thinking and self maintenance. I think maybe being depressed could mean you need some 'DEEP REST'.
