National News End Child Food Poverty

Oh look here's another reason why someone might have to rely on the state just to eat.

Scrounge or just bloody unlucky? You decide.

And that is exactly why the state safety net should be there.

Mark`s has very similar "previous" for (allegedly) exploiting the furlough scheme and not passing on the money to the staff.

So should we just move straight to Triage when considering NHS treatment ?

Sorry mate, you drink alcohol, back of the queue, or go private ?

Depends on the NHS treatment...... :)

If folk get so tanked they need NHS treatment then by all means treat them, then bill them. They might learn restraint.

Not talking about tanked up. Just in general people who drink alcohol are worse health risk and cost to NHS than those who don’t. And don’t deserve priority. Thoughts ?

If there illness is directly related to their alcohol consumption then get them to reduce that first.....bit like George Best and the wasted liver transplant.

Where do you stop?
Where do you stop indeed.

"In general" people who eat in McDonald's have worse health than those who don't?

"In general" people who live in cities have worse health than those who live out in the fresh air?

I think the most likely outcome if zero hours contracts were scrapped is employers would just use temp agencies to fill the gaps. Hahaha. Tory Govts have spent years causing such centres (under another name) to be closed down through austerity. And now propose this to be a solution. Hahaha.

Maybe those previous centres (under another name) weren`t working........ nothing wrong with evolution and improvement is there?

Even the Guardian acknowledged their failing in 2010

But by 2019 the same paper changed their tune....

And even the "closures due to austerity" isn`t necessarily true as some have already been "re-branded".
