Anyone else had a go watching one of the games in VR? Must say it's a lot better than I thought it would be, viewpoint from a "seat" on the halfway line gives a great view of the whole pitch, you can see everything, not just the small box the TV companies want you to see. Worth a go if you have the hardware.

Hi. I'm not technically minded. What hardware do you need?

Most smartphones released within the last 3-4 will be compatible. Found an article that can talk you through the process of working out if your phone supports the technology - https://www.bouncegeek.com/vr-compatible-phones-list/

To be a fully immersive experience, you'll also need a headset. There are fancy branded ones (Samsung Gear) that cost upwards of around 50 pounds, or you can order a build your own cardboard one for under a tenner!

That's probably the sort of thing I'd recommend if you're just testing it out.

A lot of the Samsung phones have the ability built in, I'm using a galaxy s7 edge, with a gear vr headset which came bundled with it, but believe it works with cardboard vr as well as mentioned. Worth a go if your handset supports it
