Interesting to see O'Donkor involved and if he comes on Robinson will reiterate his commitment to youth. Right enough, 3 of the 5 youngest players in club history have been during his tenure. The only problem is, it has an air of tokenism - players come in , step back, maybe eventually go on loan but there doesn't seem to be any real squad development and those chances are now lessened by the squad size rule.

Arguably will have the greatest ever name for an Oxford player as well. He sounds like someone that Tolkien made up!
... while 'toking'? ;) after all JRR, and his buddy CS (Lewis), were rather partial to the occasional jazz ciggy , apparently;)

Those chances are increased by the squad size rule surely? As there will be less players ahead of them and they can be in the squad as long as they’re under 21? O’Donkor could be a free place in the squad for the next 5 years!

Had forgotten that, although my general point still stands!

Probably? -don't this seasons vague n fluid 'rules', of this rather strange competition, now say something along the lines of the starting 11 must include 5 players who have played in some of the last 5 (?) games played (all competitions) or must have played in (something like 40%) of the previous games (all competitions) this season ? there again I may have either imagined all that, or the (administrative) powers that be at the EFL have changed the rules (several times) again already this season?

Yep spot on that.

Rush goalies as well...

Do we get Osei back for this game? He always scores in this competition.
