FA Cup day. Normally this term excites me, this year I'm not bothered. Even winning a couple of rounds does not bring much cash. Only in the later rounds against the big boys can your season become financially sound.

So Peterborough are on a good run and just like last year knocking in more goals than anybody else. So my heart says win on penalties (yes Stevens in goal) after a 2-2 draw but my head keeps hitting my heart with 0-4, 0-3, or slightly better 0-2.

Thread will automatically open at 2 minutes past midnight. I hope. Otherwise I'll open it as early as possible tomorrow morning.

In my mind this is a very welcomed break from the league. We have a chance to really test our abilities after a good win mid week, with no real consequences if we lose.

I always love the FA Cup, some seriously good memories. The Holland goal v Newcastle was one of the highest point of my year.

Would like to see Stevens and Shodipo start.

Oxford 3-2 Posh

Worth noting there are no replays this season. Not sure whether there's extra time before penalties though.
Seeing as we've got some experience I'll say we win on pens after a 1-1 draw.

PLAYED FOR BOTH: includes Jim Barron, Joe Cooke, David Oldfield, Jonathan Obika, Tyrone Barnett, Keith Cassells,
Nick Cusack, Gordon Hodgson, Phil Bolland and many others.

Completely meh about this. Now, where's my tin foil FA cup and half n half scalf? And can someone please answer the extra time question - not that I'm interested in the answer!

Does the match have to finish today or is there a replay

Close game this one .... Fancy a home win, via a late goal from Sykes

League table counts for nothing in the cup, so they say. So good chance we can get a good win if we play with the right attitude.
