That is an excellent point. Here’s hoping Pompey finish with a flourish. The thought of making 100 points has to be a massive incentive.

Good morning all, Well, I hope we have all had a decent nights sleep and are waking up this morning with an uptick in optimism and hope once again. Looking forward to the watching the scores play out later today. It's not over, till it's over. This may well turn out to be a "so near yet so...

Would be great for that to be the case, but we will not know what we need to do at Exeter until 5pm tomorrow. Just win tonight and we can then turn our attention to tomorrow. COYY's

If we work on the basis that Barnsley and Lincoln will both win tomorrow, our final 2 games become both "must win" on the basis that whatever they do, matters not. We need to put this to bed ourselves and not rely on others.

A win will pile on so much pressure to the others. Win… just bloody win 🏅🙏 No care how you do it… just bloody win.

Haha, fair enough. My concern is that if it is too vanilla, as you put it, and the game sits at 0-0 with a lack of creativity, things will get very tense and restless in the stands. A nice early goal should settle us all down 🙏

I think this mindset is reckless. Hopefully the players feel the same. Not a chance this is “routine” But more than happy for you to come back and throw this in my face if we do another demolition job 🙂

Absolutely agree. We need colour, vibrancy, noise and slogans that stick around. I know a few have been critical but we also need that immediate impact we get (and the players see) from lots of colourful displays, confetti, streamers, balloons etc. I really liked what was provided on Saturday...

Fair enough, you wallow in your pool of pessimism and realism. I’ll go swim with those that dare to dream and look to enjoy the finale.

A surfer that costs a fortune and we see once, maybe twice? And only for a few minutes at a time.

One thing I struggled to understand was why the corners were being floated in for a keeper, who seemed quite good in the air, to just come and take. Against Posh they seemed to be whipped in with some venom.

I certainly thought it continued into the area. I just didn't realise it was a penalty in that circumstance.... I stand corrected.

As much as that was a horrible, nasty little Lincoln side and a completely out of his depth refereeing performance, we have to learn how to deal with nights like that. Some silly fouls and sloppy passing, but had we been more ruthless in the first half we may have gone in at half time in front...
