We all have the same budget. What we do with it, well that’s a different question. @Thomas/Brock/Jones mentioned the possibility of a loan fee which may make sense. I don’t believe that they are counted from the £2m playing budget.

No. You’re wrong. They can’t use tucked away money. They can spend up to the agreed budget, no more. Their existing players do count at the average wage, the same as ours. They may have more left to spend than we do, of course.

There were hot dogs? If only we’d had an owner who enjoyed publicising that sort of thing.

If we're in any way serious about mounting a challenge in the second half of the season, Rob Hall cannot be in the 22 man playing squad; his body just isn't up to it. We're a professional football club at League 1 level and Rob Hall can no longer perform at that level. It really is that simple.

The game above was in 1971 and the ‘floodlight’ game was in 1997. That’s one hell of a wait for a replay.

Only because we knew that Baptiste and Fosu would be gone. It was that window that taught me that transfer windows should definitely be judged at the end and not during.

I purchased this at the auction when they were dismantling the Manor. It hung above me on the Left Side and is much larger than I thought it was!

You’re advocating a policy of one good player per position. Are you happy with that throughout the squad?

It appears that Sam Long has improved so much that he is now immune from a drop in form, where correspondents of this forum will demand his immediate banishment, while claiming to have known all along that his upturn in form was always temporary in nature. If Cadden is available for the right...

The club have made it perfectly clear whom they value most. It’s now up to each of us to determine how important they are in the long list of ways to spend our pitiful contribution.

Quite right. I look forward to them acting in a business-like fashion the next time they ask for a renewal. Where they deliver a product that I can rely upon to be of good quality, where the service is superb and the facilities in line with my spend. “What do you mean you want me to show my...

If by bigger picture you mean the pandemic, Brexit, world hunger and war, you have a point; first world problems and all that. If you’re referring to the current financial situation faced by football clubs, I think it is you that need to look at the bigger picture. Oxford United rely upon...

Should SSU season ticket holders get priority over those in the East Stand? After all, they’ve paid more money. The 1893 Club paid £164 more than a SSU STH in the central blocks, so the delta between the SSU and ES is similar. My ire isn’t at those lucky enough to benefit from this policy but...

BLM, the UK organisation, most certainly does contain far-left elements and has, in my opinion, done little to further the true sentiment of the BLM movement in this country. I think you’re wrong, @Junior_1, in your assertion that Britain First contains sections of far-right support. It is a...
