They had a young lad who can play striker, no. 10 or on the wing who might be available at a knockdown price. Wayne Something-or-other, I think his name was.

I’m surprised you omitted the word “ quick”.
When did any of the owners,post Kassam, actually make any money from there ownership of the club.

He was confident enough of the four incoming to throw a bet out there.
Then again, he was also quite confident we would get a CB and a winger in in the first two days of January.

I am coming round to the opinion that scotchers is actually KR, and not NM after all.
 
Re Cadden, I wish we hadn’t done the whole “he knows what he needs to do to stay” and “I think he’s been badly advised” routine in public. It doesn’t help. That’s all I’ll say on that.

Good luck to him at Hibs. Not sure he will find any ‘barcades’ as good as 16-Bit in Edinburgh.

This is from last year but yes Peterborough are running at a completely different level to us. Mainly because of McAnthony's largesse but even more flush now after selling Toney. In 2019 they spent £1.3m on Eisa and £19.5k a week on wages just for their loan players! Different financial planet.

Very good point. I forgot about that. Now the bus has come around again and Cadden’s agent is the driver, comments like that will not help - at all! I wouldn’t have liked those kinda comments, made in public. I’m sure that none of us would have.

I’m not surprised that he has gone elsewhere.

Like I said before, I think it’s about their all round play. I bet Shodipo’s scored nearly as many as Brannigan, but again it’s what they do for the team.

Having said that, I would have liked Shodipo, Whyte and Cadden in the team.

Shodipo plays on the wing, so does Whyte? Literally the same position, just on opposite sides. Might as well compare Stevens with Sam Long..

It’s not about if you’re right or not, it’s about not burning the bridge in case you ever want them back.

The guy wanted to go and live in America and experience it. He got to do that. Robinson should’ve shut his mouth and if it was as doomed as he thought maybe he could’ve ended up with him anyway.

There was no way Cadden was coming back here. I’m happy with Sam Long.
