Transfer News Transfer window 2020/21

"Absolutely backing me to the hilt, every name i put forward Tiger listened, we may do something but has to be better than what we have, difficult time to make signings and Derick deserves a chance so we'll see"
I don’t know you kip but you come across as a miserable person on here but that what you just typed I could see in the OM in a couple of days time

Hull City loan Gavin Whyte from Cardiff City

It makes no sense for him to go there.

He’s been at Oxford, he knows the set up, he seemed to like it. You’d assume he’s probably (maybe) friendly with Sykes?

Cardiff supposedly have a good relationship with us and they know we can develop him as they got him from us!

We’ve just freed up Clare’s wages so how could Hull blow us out of the water that way?

Disappointed and gutted about that to be honest. I kept hearing ‘There’s better right wingers out there than Sean Clare’ from the usual suspects when he left us, so I look forward to the better League One right winger than Gavin Whyte that we sign.

With abit of luck he might do us a few favours whilst at hull and score goals against teams we are chasing and hopefully he has a bad day at the office against us

Makes a lot of sense, he joins a bigger better club with a nice ground, gets them promoted, signs up with a fat fee and goes back to Cardiff and kicks their ass!

No we don't as there big wages won't be counted , and as they only just came down from Championship will have been tucking away a tidy sum every season so will have a bit more to play with . That and looking very strong to make an instant return which will attract players .
No. You’re wrong. They can’t use tucked away money. They can spend up to the agreed budget, no more. Their existing players do count at the average wage, the same as ours.

They may have more left to spend than we do, of course.

I'm sure they could offer Cardiff a decent loan fee , and they need promotion as many of there big earners will be on ' average ' wages for this season . Just lost a player on big wages to QPR so will have a space, and are looking very good for an automatic return . Funny that there right winger has been there best player so far this season though !

Not only are they a bigger club than us including being in the top flight recently but they are also right in the promotion race with a good chance of going back up to the higher division they were in. The one we haven't been in, in decades. Apart from all of that I've got no idea why someone would choose them over us!

Gavin Whyte joins Hull
I'm not bothered to be honest.

A good player, but I'm not too keen on the whole idea of getting former players back on loan, so soon after they've left us, just so they can keep fit, regain some form, and then, once we've served our purpose, either go back to their parent club, or seal a move to another club higher up than us, leaving a gaping hole in our squad again, and leaving us broken hearted...again!

It'd be like agreeing to get back together with an ex girlfriend after she's already dumped you once, for a temporary fling, whilst she decides weather she wants to get back together with her current boyfriend, or hook up with someone else, and then, inevitably, buggers off again, and leaves you broken hearted...again!

Sometimes it's best to leave things in the past, and move on!

Was better than most of those around him at the time, especially with his head.
My favourite thing about him was the comedy overlaps he embarked upon - just remember the look on Joey's face when WH came lumbering by
I agree. He was totally committed and was a lot better than some in that team.
