Not as unlikely as you suggest. Nathan Holland stayed living local until the summer, long after he finished with us. He was in contact with the squad during the playoffs and felt very much part of that team.Moon on a stick apparently spotted in car park
Gavin Whyte loved his time at Oxford but simply had an offer he couldn't refuse. We asked about him in the summer but Cardiff wanted to see him fight for his place. They're now more than happy to see him go out on loan, and KR suggested that conversations had taken place before Christmas.
The only thing will be that neither are likely to sign at the end of the loan spells and we may look to build on our recruitment model with a young player coming in permanently or on a loan before you buy deal.
