Really? Where did you get that information from? It certainly was the WHO's recommendation way back in March, when there were concerns that not enough masks would be available for medical staff, but they totally reversed that in June after the virus became even more widespread than it was in March. And now that we're into the second (or third?) wave is there any indication that the recommendation is not to wear masks? Yes, social distancing is also important, but spreading misinformation about the need for masks means that your mind must be wandering, not just your username. Maybe you were thinking of Roger Daltrey or Pete Townshend, but I doubt very much that either of them are anti-masks.
