With the current trend to remove the internal combustion engine from Oxford at every opportunity may I suggest that the narrow boat shuttle service that departs irregularly from the Oxford end of the camel either be steam driven or perhaps even horse drawn , this would enable a regular supply of horse manure to keep the pitch up to standard, the smell would be a homage to our Sanford location,

Bicester......decent train connections loads of pubs........right next to Bicester village.....where the old Bicester town ground was.......
I think that’s owned by Bicester Village. I can’t see them selling it for any price. They certainly won’t want a football stadium next to them.

Kick off delayed due to heavy traffic, caused by an accident on the approach to the stadium.

Cancel HS2 and useful schemes like this become loose change ;)

I would agree and think they should never have started HS2 and the pandemic suggests it would be better spending the money on Fibre Broadband!!

The problem with HS2 is that it has gone beyond the point of cancellation now as it chews through Warwickshire and onwards as well as the Curzon development in Brum and all the London end works. Too much time, money & effort has been put in over the last decade to stop it.

it is (HS2 ...and East West rail too) proper chewing up large parts of the Oxon / Bucks border villages and surrounding areas.... large swathes of ancient woodlands , wildlife habitat etc totally decimated & destroyed, creating both railway links are nothing more than vanity projects IMO

Time to grow some and halt it. Just because you've wasted a lot of money is not really a reason to waste billions more.

Well nothing like the damage done by the M40. I don’t recall much fuss about that
