Stewart Donald anyone.....

I think that Charlie has always been an Oxford supporter.
I am not sure why we would not want people to come and support the team and club. It takes all sorts. Look at this forum ;)
I might have missed it, but not seen anyone on this thread suggesting Charlie isn't an Oxford supporter. He clearly is.

But many people will be unnerved by Charlie having an involvement in running the club. On the other hand, most would seem to welcome Stewart Donald in that capacity.

I was referring to comments in this thread that people would not want him back as a supporter or anywhere near the club.

Exactly and how dare he take his children with him to a football match involving a team he owned.

Don't understand why all these months things got so personal towards a guy most don't know or ever met.
You clearly didn't read my post - never got personal. Glad 'personally' he is out of it for his own financial welfare and that of his family. If you want to get personal - perhaps you might have been reading the Daily Mail far too much fella.....

Never suggested "You" got personal

What i said was couldn't understand why for months things had gotten personal towards the guy.

Not read a paper for years since the Football Pink ceased.

Say the person who resorts to insults rather than debate - from his keyboard......
Bit touchy. I was simply saying football fans are sometimes stupid. Do you disagree? It wasn't aimed at anyone in participating. Hey, I'm sure I've said stupid things as a result of being blinded by football loyalty.

I know I have ( usually in the heat of the moment - but occasionally not in the heat of the moment as well)

Well yes, but they obviously mean in a position of power/influence - not as a 'normal' supporter (or someone we could poke with a sharp stick on here)!

I have to disagree with your last point Pete. As much as I’m grateful for all the help SD has done for the club in the past, I wouldn’t want him in any position of power/influence on the running of the club.

As for Charlie, the further he stays away from the board room, the better. Maybe let him be in charge of the north stand toilets?
